Raceway Venray has cancelled the Saloon Stockcar WorldCup race weekend on June 26-27 – A single race day on June 27 is set to officially open the 2021 season

First the bad news: Raceway Venray has cancelled the planned WorldCup of the Saloon Stockcars on June 26-27, 2021, because the short-term relaxations in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic came too short notice to let the event take place as planned. But there is also good news: The organizers have responded to the relaxations and have organized a race day for June 27.

The following classes will be at the track: Stockcar F1 and F2 , Stockcar F2 Juniors , 2l Saloon Stockcars , National Hotrods , Heritage Stockcar and the V8 Oval Series.

Tickets are available at the box office and do not need to be booked in advance.
Admission will be granted only upon presentation of a valid vaccination card, a certificate of recovery or a negative coronation test not older than 40 hours. Important: No tests will be offered on site, the test must be done before visiting the track.

The Practices will begin at 9:00 am, with the event expected to end at 6:00 pm. At least that is the current plan by Venray Raceway. Due to the dynamic situation in the pandemic, there may still be a cancellation. In the Netherlands, a new regulation for sporting events is expected to be announced soon, which should make the race on June 27 possible. If there is any change in this push, Venray Raceway will be forced to react.

Another four events are still planned for 2021 :
July 25 (Supercup National Hotrods).
August 14-15 (WorldCup Stockcar F1 & F2 ; European Championship BriSCA Ministox)
September 26 (Autumn races and EuroCup V8 Oval Series)
October 24 (Final Race and Gold Cup Stockcar F2 Juniors)
