In 2020, Braxx Racing and Scott Jeffs will compete in the EuroNASCAR PRO championship – The Briton will drive the #78 Ford Mustang

In 2019, Scott Jeffs made his debut in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series (NWES). The Briton contested a total of eight races for Braxx Racing – six in the EuroNASCAR 2 championship and two in the EuroNASCAR PRO division (ENPRO). At Hockenheim, the 22-year-old drove his first race in the NWES top championship and convinced immediately with a strong ninth place in the second semi-final.

With Braxx Racing, Jeffs wants to run a full-time programme in the 2020 NWES season: “I’m really happy to be back racing in EuroNASCAR, as I always knew 2020 would be a difficult season for me, as I’m currently in my final year at university. However, the opportunity arose and I didn’t want to miss it,” said Jeffs, who’s studying Business Management and Marketing at Nottingham Trent University, to ‘EuroNASCAR.com‘. “EuroNASCAR was the main goal for 2020, as I had a great time racing in the series in 2019.”

“This year I’ll be competing in ENPRO which is always going to be a challenge, but after already finishing ninth and 13th in my debut in Hockenheim last year, I’m quite confident. I feel that it’s a challenge I’m ready for! My goal is to be running within the top-10 regularly which I think is more than achievable with Braxx Racing as they are a great team to work with and always provide a very competitive car”, said the Briton.

Jeffs will make his first NWES appearance of the 2020 season on April 25-26 at Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, Spain. For the 22-year-old, the promotion to the ENPRO championship is an important step in his still young career.
