Viktor Schiffer from Austria set for the 2023 EuroNASCAR Club Challenge

Viktor Schiffer will compete in the 2023 season for Double V Racing in the EuroNASCAR Club Challenge and contest all races
Viktor Schiffer has tasted blood at the Club Challenge (CC) in Croatia – the regularity test in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series (NWES). The Austrian will contest all CC races in 2023 for Double V Racing from Italy and take his seat at the wheel of the No. 27 car. The 24-year-old from the Burgenland is already fired up for his first full EuroNASCAR season.
“I’m going into the season highly motivated and already looking forward to the team spirit at Double V Racing,” says the 24-year-old. “At the same time, I would like to thank GWT and Denzel Eisenstadt for their support. My thanks also go to Robert Wagner from Motorsportaktiv and especially to my father for this unique opportunity.”
Apart from scoring as many points as possible in the Club Challenge, which is held on Fridays at selected NWES events (with the exception of Zolder, where the CC starts on Thursday) with three 30-minute sessions, the Austrian has not set himself any particular goals. He is looking forward to working with the Italian racing team and discovering the many new race tracks.
The plant fitter comes from a karting background and will now take his first big steps in automobile racing. For this he has chosen, of all things, the 400-hp EuroNASCAR cars without much downforce and without electronic aids. The V8 monsters with rear-wheel drive also have a classic H-shift. Schiffer is certainly physically fit for the EuroNASCAR adventure, as he spends a lot of time working out and enjoys cycling in the mountains.
