Vict Motorsport and FEED Racing with NWES partnership

The Italian team Vict Motorsport will work with FEED Racing in the 2020 NWES season – Four cars will be fielded in the championship
Vict Motorsport – formerly Racers Motorsport – has teamed up with FEED Racing to attack in the 2020 season. As FEED Vict Racing, the Italian-French combination will field four cars in the NASCAR Whelen Whelen Euro Series (NWES) and focus on promoting young talents.
FEED Racing is the team of Jacques Villeneuve and Patrick Lemarie that will make its NWES debut in 2020. Vict Motorsport, better known as Racers Motorsport, has been an integral part of the NWES since the 2015 season. The Italians won the EuroNASCAR-2 championship with Gianmarco Ercoli – who will compete for CAAL Racing in 2020 – in 2015.

Five drivers for the eight cockpits have already been confirmed: Ex-Formula 1 champion Villeneuve will drive the #5 car, but a teammate has not yet been chosen. Lemarie will share the #6 car with youngster Simon Pilate from Belgium. Also confirmed are NWES veteran Dario Caso and Alessandro Brigatti. Ex-Challenger-Trophy winner Caso is the owner of the Vict cars.
“It was very important for us to partner with a consolidated organization in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series,” said Villeneuve. “Vict Motorsport has experience, a winning resume and a great facility near Vallelunga, one of the tracks in the NWES calendar. They are also used to working with young talents and that perfectly resonates with the spirit of FEED Racing, so it makes perfect to partner with us in this new EuroNASCAR venture.”

Dario Caso said: “Being both a driver and a team owner, my position is pretty special and it will be a privilege to race together with drivers like Jacques Villeneuve and Patrick Lemarie. It will also be very interesting to share with them the managing duties and work together on all aspects of the team. We’re eager to get things started and I think that it will be a positive experience and strong results will come.”
With the NasKart championship, Vict Motorsport has created a karting league to pave the way for young drivers to enter EuroNASCAR. Brigatti finished second in the 2018 championship and was therefore rewarded with a NWES cockpit. FEED Racing also has a junior academy, which is why the two teams speak of a “perfect combination” for the 2020 NWES season.
