Since a large part of the 2020 season was cancelled at Raceway Venray, the V8 Oval Series has created a sim racing Championship

In the Netherlands, all major events up to September were cancelled due to the coronavirus crisis. Therefore, Raceway Venray has had to cancel five race days in 2020 so far. The V8 Oval Series is therefore planning a virtual replacement programme with its own iRacing series.

Five virtual races will be held in 2020 with well-known drivers and teams of the V8 Oval Series as well as sim racers. The start of the season is scheduled for 30 May. The races will take place on Saturday evening and will be broadcast on Twitch. There have already been first test races to test the planned format, but no final set of rules has been presented yet.
