The engines are roaring again: First race in 2020 at the Raceway Venray

On 16th of August, several classes will start the 2020 season at the Raceway Venray – The first race day is subject to strict regulations to prevent the spread of COVID-19
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, all races planned at Raceway Venray from April to mid-August had to be cancelled. But on August 16th, the two ovals in the Netherlands can be home of the first race of the season. There are strict protective measures against the spread of the virus at the track.
Originally, the Stockcar WorldCup was scheduled for this date, but also due to the pandemic it cannot take place as planned. Nevertheless, the numerous fans can look forward to exciting motorsport at the popular Raceway Venray: On August 16th, a so-called club race is scheduled. The Autospeedway classes Stockcar F1, Stockcar F2, F2-Juniors and National Hotrods as well as the V8 Oval Series will be part of the event.
Since the number of visitor tickets is limited, tickets must be ordered in advance. Racing fans can reserve tickets in advance by writing an e-mail to info@racewayvenray.com. When ordering, it must be specified how many people would like to attend the event, as well as whether the group belongs to one family and can therefore sit next to each other in the grandstand, so that contact restrictions can be observed.
It is also compulsory to wear a mouth-and-nose cover while taking your place on the grandstand or moving around the raceway. These masks are also available at the track.
The entrance fee is 20 Euros and the advance sale is open until 12th of August. Tickets are available as long as the contingent lasts. After the advance booking the race fan will receive a confirmation, which is mandatory to enter the track. There will be no ticket sale at the gates.
