The Club Motorsport plans three EuroNASCAR starts in 2021

Italian team The Club Motorsport plans to compete in three race weekends of the 2021 EuroNASCAR season – Team principal Fabrizio Armetta will compete in both championships in Spain
The Club Motorsports has confirmed a part-time program for the 2021 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series (NWES). The Italians plan to compete on three select race weekends. At the season opener, team principal Fabrizio Armetta is in the starting blocks to compete for points in both championships – EuroNASCAR PRO and EuroNASCAR 2.
Should an opportunity arise, The Club Motorsports would like to contest the full 2021 NWES season. In Armetta, the racing team has a true NWES veteran in its ranks, with 32 EuroNASCAR PRO starts and two EuroNASCAR 2 starts. In 2014, he finished fourth twice at the Nurburgring and Le Mans – his best results to date.
“We are very happy to become a part of the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series again”, said the 48-year-old race driver from Rome. “We are really looking forward to competing with our team against all the other strong squads in the championship. The plan is to participate in three events over the course of 2021, but we are still working on making it a full-time campaign. In Valencia, we want to see where we stand in comparison to other teams and collect some solid results in the EuroNASCAR PRO Championship.”
Armetta has secured four top-5 and ten top-10 results in his starts so far. He will look to build on those solid statistics at Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, Spain, on May 15-16. Qualifying and all races will be broadcast live on the Leadlap.de / Leadlap.net Facebook page.
