V8 fans will see some spectacular racing during the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series (NWES) Finals at the Hockenheimring on October 17-18. The Swedish V8 Thunder Cars Series has decided to held a race in Germany to celebrate their season final together with EuroNASCAR.

The Series has already confirmed five of six rounds of the 2020 championship, that is also the home of EuroNASCAR team Memphis Racing and its driver Alexander Graff. There will be three race weekends in Sweden: Falkenberg, Ljungbyhed and Mantorp. Beside Germany, the series will visit Finland where the V8 Thunder Cars Series will open the brand new Kymiring.

“Its a perfect season final for the V8 Thunder Cars as there is a direct connection to NASCAR at its American cars,” said series officer Richard Berggren on the official ‘series website‘. “We share the idea of having races that are fun for the spectators and participants.”

The Hockenheimring will host the NWES Finals for the first time in its fourth consecutive year on the EuroNASCAR schedule. The races at the legend track in Baden-Württemberg provided exciting and dramatic races in the last three years. Being the host of the semi-finals in the past, the Hockenheimring was always a very important race weekend in the NWES season.
