Pure oval racing: The Raceway Venray opens its doors for the second time

Next Sunday, September 27, the Raceway Venray will open its doors again – Various stockcar classes and the V8 Oval Series will hold races
In August, the Raceway Venray successfully passed a test and proved that it is capable of organizing a racing event while maintaining strict protective measures against the spread of COVID-19. Therefore the second race day of the 2020 season will take place on September 27th.
The Raceway Venray is currently the only Dutch oval track where races are held. Therefore the organizer expects a full starting grid.
In addition to the Autospeedway classes Stockcar F1, Stockcar F2, F2 Juniors and the V8 Oval Series, this time the 2L Saloon Stockcars and the Heritage Stockcar F1 will be at the start.
Not only for the organizer, but also for most of the drivers the first race day in August served as a kind of position-fixing. It will be exciting to see if and how the drivers were able to optimize their cars in the meantime.
Further events for the shortened 2020 season are already being planned, provided that no further tightening of protective measures against the spread of the virus are imposed.
However, there is one downer for fans who are still planning to come to the track: The event on 27 September is already sold out, there will be no box office.
