NWES presents summer camp for interested race car drivers
NASCAR Whelen Euro Series

EuroNASCAR offers a summer camp before the start of the season in September – Both interested and established drivers can participate in the test days

The NASCAR Whelen Euro Series (NWES) will start into the new season on 12th and 13th September at the Autodromo di Vallelunga in Italy. But before the season kicks off, interested drivers and also established drivers in the series will have the chance to test the EuroNASCAR cars on the test track in Fontenay Le Comte, France. The best participants can look forward to a discount on the entry fee for the 2020 and 2021 seasons.

The summer camp will take place on 29th and 30th July in France. Interesting: Participation in the test days, which are similar to the NWES recruitment program in winter, costs 900 euros. Should a driver start in the 2020 season, this participation fee will be refunded.

In addition to test sessions on the track, a time attack session and a qualifying simulation, participants will have the opportunity to meet NWES President Jerome Galpin and talk to him about the career ladder in NASCAR racing. The series also places great emphasis on the drivers getting to know the NWES environment including mechanics and organisers during the test. A special rookie course is offered for absolute beginners.

“During these past 10 years, we have seen that our EuroNASCAR cars fit every kind of driver,” explained Galpin. “They provided great fun to some of the best drivers in the world ˆover the course of our 7 appearances at the Race of Champions. We really think the NWES represents today one of the best racing packages in Europe and we will take the opportunity to have a summer less busy than usual to offer drivers the opportunity to taste it.”
