Not Only Motorsport joins EuroNASCAR in 2020
With Not Only Motorsport, another new team will start in EuroNASCAR for the first time in 2020 – The Italians will enter one car for three drivers
The NASCAR Whelen Euro Series (NWES) will grow further 2020: Not Only Motorsport will field a EuroNASCAR car in the European NASCAR championship for the first time in 2020. The Italian team has already confirmed three drivers for its #89 car, who will compete in EuroNASCAR PRO, EuroNASCAR 2 and the Club Challenge.
The 53-year-old Fabio Spatafora from Italy will start in the EuroNASCAR PRO championship. He has already competed for Scorpus Racing in the 2013 NWES season. Spatafora also has experience in GT racing. With Not Only Motorsport he will return to the NWES in 2020.
Davide Dallara is a young racing driver from Italy who is actually at home in formula racing. In the 2020 season he will compete in the EuroNASCAR 2 championship for the new NWES team for the first time. Dallara is also working for Not Only Motorsport as a coach, as the racing team offers various racing driver training courses.
The third in the group is Igor Romanov from the Ukraine, who has already participated in the NWES recruitment program in winter. He will gain his first experience in the NWES beast in 2020 in the Club Challenge, the regularity based championship of EuroNASCAR.
Due to the postponement of the NWES races in Valencia and Brands Hatch because of the coronavirus crisis, the season opener is currently scheduled for June 20-21 in Most, Czech Republic. Not Only Motorsport will participate in a NWES race for the first time when the series will finally hit the track.
