Not Only Motorsport drivers with boosted confidence ahead of Most

The Not Only Motorsport drivers feel ready to aim higher ahead of the season’s next rounds at Autodrom Most
The Italian team of Not Only Motorsport made its debut in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series (NWES) only in 2020. After a solid debut season, the drivers of the #89 and #90 cars now proved at the start of the season that Not Only Motorsport has managed to make further progress.
The driver pairing of #89 Chevrolet Camaro, Davide Dallara and rookie Alberto Panebianco, have been impressing with consistent results so far and are currently fifth in the team standings as a result. Panebianco in particular has exceeded all expectations with one top-5 and three top-10 results in EuroNASCAR-2.
But returnee Naveh Talor is also delivering good results and thus valuable points for the #90 car so far. The young Israeli is sixth in the EuroNASCAR-2 driver standings and – like team-mate Panebianco – has already recorded one top-5 and three top-10 finishes.
“The other teams have noticed that we have joined the party”
“It shows how well we work together as a team,” Panebianco told ‘EuroNASCAR.com’. “Sometimes we have problems and couldn’t show our real pace. But we are up front and I think the other teams have noticed that we have joined the party. I think I can still finish on the podium this season, but I have to be smart and not make any stupid mistakes.
“Most will be the fifth race of my career and I have to take it one step at a time. The goal is to win the Rookie Trophy and since everything is new to me, I am also trying out different approaches,” said the 25-year-old rookie.
Talor sets goal of podium results
The 19-year-old Talor is also fully satisfied with his full-time return to EuroNASCAR after the Israeli only made a guest start at the finale in Valencia last year. “I’m happy with the NWES as always, because we can sort of run a normal season, even though the situation is constantly changing. I’m very happy at Not Only Motorsport and I think we have a good connection, even if I still need to improve my Italian a bit.”

After a successful period of acclimatisation with the team, Talor now feels ready for the next step. “Everyone who works in my team is improving and that is something that a driver wants. I feel like a very important part of the team. My expectations for Most are to improve my qualifying pace and be on the podium at the end of both races. I was very close at Brands Hatch and I’m ready for it.”
Autodrom Most the next stop on the race calendar
The NWES squad will make its third stop on August 28-29. The drivers will face a 4.2-kilometre circuit at Autodrom Most in the Czech Republic, which has only been added to the calendar in the 2019 season. After a Covid-related cancellation last year, this is going to be only the second NWES appearance at Most.
As usual, qualifying and all races will be broadcast live on the EuroNASCAR platforms – YouTube, Facebook and Twitch – as well as Motorsport.tv.
