No WorldCup in 2021: Raceway Venray shortens race day to Sunday

The planned WorldCup weekend at Raceway Venray can not take place – Instead there will be a single race day on Sunday
Originally, the WorldCup races of the Stockcar F1 and Stockcar F2 were to be held on August 14-15 but due to the still tense pandemic situation no multi-day events could be held. Nevertheless, motorsport fans will get their money’s worth: on Sunday, August 15, the “MOTUL-Edition” will take place at Raceway Venray.
The following classes will compete : Stockcar F1 and F2 , F2 Juniors , 2L Saloon Stockcars , National Hotrod and the V8 Oval Series. Tickets are available at the box office and do not need to be booked in advance. As of now, no proof of full vaccination or recovery is a requirement, nor is a negative coronal test. However, a mouth-nose mask is required by the organizer as a precautionary measure.
Practice runs will begin at 9am, with the first race scheduled for 11:20am. Fans can look forward to an exciting day of racing, as a total of 23 races in different classes are scheduled for this event.
Two more events are planned in 2021: the EuroCup in the V8 Oval Series on September 26 and the final race and GoldCup in the F2 Juniors on October 24. Depending on the pandemic situation, changes or cancellations are still possible at short notice.
