Bremotion from Frankfurt plans to make its debut in the 2023 EuroNASCAR season – The team is having the car prepared in the Netherlands

In all likelihood, there will be two German teams in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series (NWES) in 2023. In addition to the traditional racing team of Marko Stipp, the well-known GT team Bremotion from Frankfurt is set to join the paddock. Patrick Brenndörfer wants to enter the No. 99 Chevrolet Camaro in the 2023 NWES season, which will be prepared in the winter by the championship winning team Hendriks Motorsport in the Netherlands.

In addition, Bremotion plans to collaborate with Roy Hendriks and NASCAR Cup Series team boss Toine Hezemans: the Dutchmen will not only set up the car, but also act as trackside consultants for Brenndörfer. However, the car will be serviced by Bremotion mechanics during the race weekends, according to the plan of the German, who offers tuning for selected brands in addition to racing.

“I am very pleased, and thank Toine Hezemans and Roy Hendriks for their cooperation in EuroNASCAR, which I hope Team Bremotion can then successfully leave a mark on the race tracks,” said Brenndörfer, who is now working on finding the right drivers for the EuroNASCAR PRO and EuroNASCAR 2 championships. “I am surprised that the interest, even from top drivers, is very big.” Hezemans added, “We built up a complete program with Patrick and Roy. We don’t see us as rivals but as a joint team.”

Bremotion has recently made a name for itself in GT4 racing in Germany, fielding Mercedes-AMGs in both the DTM Trophy and ADAC GT4 Germany. The team has also competed in races in the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS, formerly VLN) and fielded a touring car in races from the DMV. The racing team from Germany has therefore already gained a lot of experience, which is why Hezemans expects Brenndörfer and his squad to be fast right from the start.

The 2023 NWES season officially kicks off on May 6 and 7 at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, Spain. Bremotion can look forward to a special home race in Germany on September 23 and 24, when EuroNASCAR will make its debut at the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben. After the Hockenheimring and the Nürburgring, Oschersleben is already the third venue in Germany. In addition, Bremotion is the third German team in NWES history: In addition to Marko Stipp Motorsport, there was also Mirco Schultis’ team Mishumotors.
