EuroNASCAR test day in Vallelunga: Four drivers at the top of the timesheet

After the compulsory break due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the pre-season tests of the EuroNASCAR PRO and EuroNASCAR 2 championships were on the agenda on Friday. There were two testing sessions for both classes each..
Alon Day set the first fastest lap of the day in the top division. “It’s really nice to be back and race in reality after such a long time and so many great virtual races,” the Israeli told ‘EuroNASCAR’.

In the second practice Stienes Longin drove the fastest lap after struggling with a flat tire in the previous session. Afterwards the Belgian showed himself to be confident. “The track was a bit slower, but I’m pretty sure that we have a good setup”, the Belgian told ‘NWES’.

In the first practice of the EuroNASCAR 2 division rookie Tobias Dauenhauer set the fastest time in Vallelunga. The German was visibly satisfied. “That was a perfect start and a good foundation for tomorrow. This is how it can go on,” the Hendriks Motorsport driver told ‘EuroNASCAR. In the second session of the day, his team mate Vittorio Ghirelli from Italy was the fastest driver.
