Naveh Talor and DF1 Racing plan to fight for the EuroNASCAR 2 title in 2022 – The Israeli joins the Austrians after racing for Not Only Motorsport

DF1 Racing recently announced the signing of Naveh Talor. The Israeli driver will continue to compete in the EuroNASCAR 2 championship, sharing the #22 Chevrolet Camaro alongside Nicolo Rocca. Talor, who scored his maiden NASCAR Whelen Euro Series (NWES) win at Circuit Zolder in 2021, now looks set to be a major contender to challenge for the title in 2022.

Building up steam for 2022

At the age of only 20, Talor will already enter his third full year in the series. Having made his debut in 2019 for Solaris Motorsport, the youngster only made a part-time appearance during the finals of the 2020 season. Returning full-time in 2021, Talor came of age with some mighty performances teaming with Not Only Motorsport.

Finishing the season in third overall, he recorded seven top-10 finishes out of twelve races including a sensational victory in the second Belgian race at Circuit Zolder. 2022 now seems like the right time to aim for the pinnacle of EuroNASCAR 2.

Turning experience into advantage

“I’m happy that DF1 Racing gave me the chance to race for the team and I want to thank Gudrun Strouhal and Norbert Walchhofer as well as the sponsor Grapos Soft Drinks for their trust in me. The team has shown in the previous years that they work very professionally,” Talor states.

“My goal is to score more wins and fight for the EuroNASCAR 2 title. This will be my third season so the tracks are no longer new to me. The experience I gathered by now should be an advantage this season. Together with Nicolo, who is very experienced, and the team, I’m sure we will have a very successful season.”

Following the cancellation of the German NASCAR GP, the 2022 NWES season will kick off in Valencia (Spain) on May 14-15.
