EuroNASCAR returnees: Marko Stipp Motorsport and DF1 Racing gear up

Marko Stipp Motorsport and DF1 Racing have announced a number of returnees for the EuroNASCAR race at Brands Hatch – Scott Jeffs, Shaun Hollamby and Alexander Graff are on the entry list
The NASCAR Whelen Euro Series (NWES) will visit the Indy layout at Brands Hatch in the UK next weekend. Both Marko Stipp Motorsport and DF1 Racing have announced new drivers shortly before the start of the event. Scott Jeffs, Shaun Hollamby and Alexander Graff are three experienced NWES drivers returning to the series.
Marko Stipp Motorsport from Germany has secured the services of Scott Jeffs. The Briton already competed in the European NASCAR series in 2019, running six EuroNASCAR 2 and two EuroNASCAR PRO races. The 23-year-old will compete in the EuroNASCAR PRO Championship, sharing the #46 car with NWES rookie Miguel Gomes.
Scott Jeffs very confident
”I am very happy to be returning to the NWES as it’s a great championship with some very quick drivers,” said Jeffs. “It has been almost two years since I drove in EuroNASCAR so I will need to try and get up to speed with things quickly. Luckily, I am very familiar with Brands Hatch so that will go in my favour.”
“As I’ll be racing in the EuroNASCAR PRO championship, my goal is to try and get two top-10 finishes. I feel with the support of Marko Stipp Motorsport this is very much achievable. There is no reason to not be fighting for those top spots,” Jeffs contemplated his prospects.
DF1 Racing brings in Hollamby and Graff

Austrian team DF1 Racing has snapped up two drivers at once: Hollamby, who has already gained EuroNASCAR experience in 2019, will take his place in the #77 car, which he will share with Marc Goossens. The Briton is already looking forward immensely to contesting his home race at the Indy circuit of Brands Hatch.
“I’m super excited to be on the grid with DF1 Racing for the American SpeedFest at Brands Hatch. I’m looking forward to working with my teammate Marc Goossens and all the team,” Hollamby said. “It will be great to race again in the EuroNASCAR in front of the British crowd.”
Graff will compete the rest of the season

Graff’s return takes things a step further: the Swede, who competed for Memphis Racing in the NWES in 2018 and 2019, will compete the remainder of the season with DF1 Racing, sharing the #44 car with Ian Eric Waden.
“I haven’t driven a single meter in NASCAR since the finale at Zolder 2019,” said Graff. “So I’ll have a very busy Friday at Brands Hatch to get comfortable with the car, the team and the track. But I’m looking forward to that challenge!”
“The goal this weekend will be to score as good results as possible and to get to know everyone in the team and work for the future,” Graff clarified. In addition to Jeffs, Hollamby and Graff, Alex Sedgwick will also return to the NWES. The 23-year-old Briton will compete for Academy Motorsport in the EuroNASCAR PRO championship. The qualifying sessions and all races will be broadcasted live on the Facebook page of ‘Leadlap.de / Leadlap.net’.
