EuroNASCAR 2020: Max Lanza teams up with CAAL Racing to grab the EN2 title

Max Lanza joins CAAL Racing in the 2020 NWES season – He wants to win the EN2 championship with the Italian powerhouse
The 2020 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series (NWES) Silly Season provided another surprise with Max Lanza joining the powerhouse CAAL Racing. The Italian will take over the #88 Chevrolet to compete in the EuroNASCAR 2 (EN2) championship. Lanza will be a full time NWES driver for the very fist time in his career and aims for the EN2 title.
Since his NWES debut in 2018, Lanza only put together part time programs in the official European NASCAR series. Now he wants to make another step forward and compete full time with CAAL Racing. Lanza has a lot of experience with 15 EN2 and three EuroNASCAR PRO races under his belt.
“This is the start of a new era for me. I am really happy and honored to join a top team such as CAAL Racing. I have a lot of expectations for this season because I’m sure I’ll have everything I need to compete at the front and have a chance to conquer the EuroNASCAR 2 title,” said Lanza.
“This year I am particularly looking forward to the Most event because I didn’t have the opportunity to be there in 2019 and it seems to be a fantastic event.” concluded the Italian. “Obviously I also can’t wait to race at my home track of Vallelunga. The track is very challenging and there are plenty of fast corners where I think I can really give my best.”
To announce his plans for the 2020 season, Lanza chose a special event. The presentation of the #88 Chevrolet took place at the Hotel De Anglais during the Italian Music Festival in Sanremo. His first race for CAAL Racing is scheduled on April 25-26 in Valencia, Spain, the traditional track that hosts the EuroNASCAR season opener.
