Delsaux and Bec return to EuroNASCAR with RDV Competition

Frenchman Ulysse Delsaux will return to race for RDV Competition in the 2021 NWES season in the EuroNASCAR PRO Championship – His teammate will be Didier Bec
RDV Competition is back in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series (NWES) after the forced break in the 2020 season. Having already announced Frederic Gabillon’s entry, the team today confirmed Ulysse Delsaux (EuroNASCAR PRO) and NWES veteran Didier Bec (EuroNASCAR 2) for 2021.
The French duo will share the #10 car, which represents the tenth French department of Aube, Delsaux’s home. With the team skipping the 2020 season due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Troyes-based race driver has had to forgo real-world starts. Delsaux has been working hard both in the virtual world and in the gym to prepare for his return.
“My goal will be to fight to win races and rediscover the irreplaceable atmosphere of the podium and the victory lane and be among the best at the end of the season to open up new horizons”, said the 23-year-old. “I continued my physical and mental training to be more motivated than ever and to be at the top of my form.”
Bec is a true NWES veteran having made a total of 55 starts in both EuroNASCAR championships between 2013 and 2018. The 58-year-old will be chasing for the Legend Trophy win for RDV Competition – the special classification for racers over the age of 40. The season kicks off on May 15-16 at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, Spain.
