Challenger Trophy winner Dallara: 2020 EuroNASCAR season a great success
Davide Dallara has won the Challenger Trophy in his first ever EuroNASCAR season – The Italian wants to compete in the series for many years to come
Pure enthusiasm: Davide Dallara is very satisfied with his debut in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series (NWES). With the new NWES team Not Only Motorsport, the Italian immediately secured the victory in the Challenger Trophy in the EuroNASCAR PRO championship – the special classification for bronze and silver drivers.
Dallara was actually supposed to make his first steps in the EuroNASCAR 2 championship. He was promoted to the EuroNASCAR PRO championship after a last-minute change to the driver lineup at the season opener in Vallelunga. In his debut season in 2020, he claimed a total of six Challenger Trophy wins and five top-10 results.
“The level in NWES is very high and there are really a lot of fast drivers,” said Dallara. “I am very happy with my development and the results. Next year I want to take the next step and attack at the front of the field. EuroNASCAR gets ten out of ten points from me because the races and the organization are fantastic. I plan to compete in the series for many years.”
Not Only Motorsports will not have regretted the promotion from Dallara in Italy. The new NWES team showed right from the start that it is competitive.
