Speedhouse Racing has announced two more drivers for the 2022 NWES season – Matthias Hauer and Neo Lambert will each run part-time programs

Lucas Lasserre must be getting cramps in his hand by now, that’s how many driver contracts the Speedhouse Racing driver and team principal has already signed for the 2022 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series (NWES). Now, the Frenchman has confirmed Matthias Hauer from Germany and Neo Lambert from France for the EuroNASCAR 2 championship. The two will each run a part-time program in the #40 Ford Mustang.

Hauer made his NWES debut back in 2018 and has raced sporadically in the series since. The German will compete in most of the races in the EuroNASCAR 2 season and will prove himself in the Legend Trophy. If the lawyer is unable to compete in the NWES due to time constraints, Lambert will step in. Hauer is already super excited to continue working with Lasserre.

“Speedhouse is a great team and I’m happy to drive for Lucas and his crew again this season in the #40 Ford Mustang in EuroNASCAR 2. It is fortunate to rely on an experienced and smoothly functioning team. It’s the continuity that matters most,” says the German, who is considered “part of the Speedhouse family” by Lasserre.

Lambert will not only compete in EuroNASCAR 2, but also in the regularity competition – the Club Challenge. Lasserre has built a true junior program in which the 20-year-old Frenchman, who has signed a two-year contract, plays an important role. In addition to Lambert, the talented Paul Jouffreau also drives for Speedhouse Racing.

“We have to be patient and go step-by-step to reach the goals with the team,” says Lambert, who makes the step from karting into auto racing. “I can’t wait for the season to start and get behind the steering wheel at Valencia. It seems to be a fun track, so let’s see how it goes.”
