The NASCAR Whelen Euro Series has adjusted its calendar due to the ongoing pandemic – The race in Most will be moved to August, while the event in Germany will be canceled for the second year in a row

The coronavirus pandemic continues to grip the world and as a result, the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series (NWES) has made changes to its calendar for the 2021 season. The scheduled race at Autodrom Most in June has been moved to August, while the scheduled round at Hockenheim has been cancelled entirely. One piece of good news: EuroNASCAR expects to be allowed spectators at all remaining races.

Actually, the races in the Czech Republic were scheduled to take place on June 19 and 20. But in order to have a better chance of getting fans in the grandstands, both the series and track officials have agreed on a new date for the event: August 28 and 29. This means that the next NWES race weekend will be held at Brands Hatch (Great Britain) on July 3 and 4.

For the fans from Germany there is bad news. Due to strict rules to contain the coronavirus, there will be no rounds at the Hockenheimring in Baden-Württemberg, as there were in 2020. However, the American Fan Fest is scheduled to return to the calendar of the European NASCAR series in 2022.

The races in Grobnik, Croatia (September 18 and 19) and Zolder, Belgium (October 9 and 10) will remain untouched. However, there is a new date for the NWES rounds in Vallelunga, Italy. The Autodromo di Vallelunga will be home to the season finale in 2021, welcoming the series on October 30 and 31.
