”The goal is the title”: Tziortzis compete in the EuroNASCAR 2 for Academy Motorsport

Vladimiros Tziortzis will compete for Academy Motorsport / Alex Caffi Motorsport in the 2022 NWES season – The Cypriot is targeting the EuroNASCAR 2 title
Academy Motorsport / Alex Caffi Motorsport have found another piece of the puzzle for the 2022 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series (NWES) season: Vladimiros Tziortzis has extended his contract and will compete for the title in the EuroNASCAR 2 championship. The Cypriot will pilot the #5 EuroNASCAR FJ and enter his third season with the team.
Tziortzis has consistently progressed in recent years and has become a favorite to win the championship. In his debut season in 2020, he finished fourth overall and second in the Rookie Trophy. In 2021, he claimed his first pole position at Zolder and was in the title fight right up to the finale in Vallelunga, Italy. In the 2022 season, the aim is to make the leap to the top of the standings.

“I’m really happy to extend my involvement with Academy Motorsport / Alex Caffi Motorsport. My motto for this year is “a job must be done” which means i will be in EuroNASCAR 2 with the main goal – as last year – to win as many races as possible and of course to win the championship. Massive thanks to everyone within the team and the NWES organization for believing in me. I’m ready more than ever before to fight for the best results,” said Tziortzis.
Team boss Federico Monti has great confidence in the 24-year-old and his team to provide Tziortzis with a strong car next season. Monti, who will compete in Club Challenge and EuroNASCAR 2 himself, said he is “proud to have” Tziortzis committed to his team for another year. He is looking forward to “continuing to work together.” Tziortzis wants to take the next step in 2022 and celebrate his first NWES victory.
